Song Seung Hyun's anti fans

Group FT Island new member Song Seung Hyun talks about his joining the group.

Song has been training under the same company as FT Island for 3 years. And he talks about some of the paings of joining the group, “I was really excited about it. Since my trainee days, I had little fans. But after joining FT Island as Oh WonBin’s replacement, my anti-fans got up to 2000 members. Right now, the numbers are increasing, and we are expecting the anti-fans to exceed 3000.”

“The other hyungs had debuted before me, and if I make any mistakes on stage I feel that I am doing bad to my hyungs. So for my first performance, I thought it will be the end of me if I make any mistakes. I have confidence in rapping. I’ve also learnt piano for 7 years. Now that everyone knows that I am part of FT Island, I hope that everyone will remember my name when they hear FT Island’s name.”

FT Island Member Lee Hongki is attracting fan's attention by talking about relationship.

Lee Hongki recently appeared on SBS 'Dating Era' and said 'Just because I am 19 years old, doesn't mean I don't know about dating."

He showed his manly side by saying "It's uncomfortable for me when a girl leads the skinship or acts to boldly. I like to lead the skinship."

Lee Hong Ki, a formal child actor and accepted to Kyung Hwee University's Acting program early decision list on 18th, confessed that "I introduced my girlfriend to my mother when I was in second year in Middle School. She [ex-girlfriend] bought fruits for the visit and my mom really liked that." Thus he proved that young age does not necessarily mean immature thinking.

Korean music to go global

Top singers Rain, DBSK, Big Bang, Girls’ Generation, and Wonder Girls will join forces to promote globalization of Korean music. The 5 bands have been appointed by Minister Yoo of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, perhaps while he was having a fit of Korean Pride. The exact plan of action will be revealed on February 4th at the SM Entertainment headquarters. So far, all we know is that the groups will be working together throughout the year as leaders of the Korean music industry to globalize Korean music.

No one can be sure of what this means for our favorite bands or what the plans will include, but it seems that the government is taking an active part in spreading Korean music to different cultures. One can only hope the government is genuinely interested in using the singers to increase awareness of Korean culture rather than acting out of greed for foreign markets

New Ft Island

FT Island fans are still recovering from the news of Wonbin leaving the group, but it seems like FT Island is quickly moving on.

They quickly took official photos with their newest member Song Seung Hyun and also filmed the MV for their next single "Bad Woman." To make matters worse, the new member stated that he would do everything he can to make the new FT Island much better than before. Is there any loyalty left?
